Moira & Evan have treated us like family: fantastic food, loads of helpful advice and insteresting facts about the area as well as South Africa as a whole. The room was clean and warm and the shower hot. We have no doubt about being the FIRST of many guests at BBI (we love the logo!) and we will recommend BBI to anyone visiting Dundee , or indeed the area.

Small and cosy - just right for us "older" backpackers! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the battlefields with Evan - again he pitched it just right for us!

Arrived after a late night riding (sic) on desolated roads through thunderstorms. Great to find a warm hostel. Very relaxing place. I'll recommend it.

We enjoyed the place so much we stayed three nights. Everything is very well organized and set up. Lovely! Now we cycle on to Ladysmith.
